POP UP---BookMaking Workshop for Teens

Service Description

Join local artist Ann Lynn Whiteside as she teams up with nature artist Christy Foelsch from Kids go Wild to create books with personality. Using specialty and handmade papers to craft a unique book you can be proud of We were offering a two day workshop in handmade Bookmaking 101. In which you will have time to complete your book to take home a finished project. This class is for beginners as well as intermediate. Ages 11 through 18 yr olds, TEENS (Unique, one of a kind. ) We will provide all tools and supplies needed. Using Archival, handmade paper, and some personalized memorabilia, we’ll show you how to create a treasure. Additional Kits will be available for purchase. Students will: Day 1 Step 1. Prep a board book covers. Set aside to let glue dry for 24 hours Step 2 Create folios And add embellishments/envelopes, drawings, additional decorative paper. Day 2 Assembling books: sewing a Coptic binding to take home a completed project
