The Downtown Newnan Labor Day Arts Festival was inspired by a long running local tradition, most commonly known as "Powers Crossroads." After many years of spending Labor Day weekend enjoying the arts and crafts of artists from near and far the Powers Crossroads Festival came to an end. In an effort to revive the artistic spirit of days gone by the Downtown Arts Festival was established in 2015. If you are an artist that would like to participate this year, please complete the application process below, or print and return to:

EXHIBITOR GUIDELINES:

  • Art or Craft items offered for sale must be made by the applicant. Only handmade crafts are permitted. Crafts made from kits are not acceptable.

  • Applicants are required to be present, full-time, during the festival.

  • Exhibitors may not sub-lease assigned booths.

  • Only 53 exhibition spaces will be available. Assignments are awarded based on the date of the submitted application.

  • Exhibitors are expected to remove and dispose of their own trash since public trash removal will not be available.

  • Exhibitors must move their vehicles from the square parking area to make parking space for patrons.

  • Exhibitors who do not abide by these guidelines will not be invited to future festivals.

 

APPLICATION PROCESS:

  • Applications can be submitted electronically or by mail. A check with the appropriate fee amount must accompany the application and be received by August 25th, 2025.

  • Registration fee for mail-in application is $65 per space (payable to The Corner Arts Gallery), mail to: The Corner Arts Gallery, 30 S. Court Square, Newnan, GA 30263.

  • Registration fee for website application is $70 per space, which is applied online: cornerartsgallery.net (click tab and go to Labor Day Festival). If you need further information or clarification, you can call 678-633-5705

  • Registration fee for food trucks is $75.

  • Applicants can request more than one space.

  • Email confirmation, acceptance, or rejection of the received application will be sent to the applicant. Checks will be returned to exhibitors whose applications are not accepted.

  • Registration fee will not be refunded due to the vendor’s cancellation after August 25th, 2025.

  • Please note that this is a rain or shine festival, and registration fees are NON-REFUNDABLE since mandatory charges were paid from festival funds before the festival date.

 

FESTIVAL DATE, TIME, AND SITE:

  • The exhibitor space is 10 feet x 10 feet. Food truck space is larger and located on the west side of the square.  

  • The Labor Day Arts Festival is a one-day event on Monday, September 1st, 2025, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

  • The festival is in downtown Newnan on the Court Square, surrounding the historic Coweta County Courthouse.

  • Exhibitors’ set-up is from 8:00 am to 9:45 am.

  • Exhibitors’ breakdown will occur at 4:00 pm and NOT BEFORE.
